CABLE WRAP

PATTERN STITCHES – NOTES:
Original printing of pattern had typos in this text:

2. When working the crossover in the cable, (row 3) after you slip the 10 sts to cn, the next 2 sts on your left needle will be purl sts. You will now work these 2 sts will as knit, according to the chart instructions. This is correct. Stitches must change here in order to keep rib pattern consistent.

Divide for Slits (RS): K1, [k2, p2] twice, k2, p1, turn as if at end of row. Continue working these 12 sts as established for 9 more rows, ending after a WS row. Place these 12 sts on st holder and leave the working yarn connected at right edge of knitting. With RS facing, join smaller 2nd ball of yarn and continue working sts on needle as follows: p1, sm, cable panel 22, sm, p1, turn as if at end of row. Continue working these 24 sts as established for 9 more rows, ending after WS row 18 of cable panel. Place these 24 sts on st holder and break smaller ball of working yarn and with RS facing, rejoin smaller ball of yarn yarn and continue working sts on needle as follows: p1, (k2, p2) twice, k3. Work these 12 sts as established for 9 more rows, ending after a WS row. Break smaller working ball of yarn. Place all sts back onto working needle.

INSTRUCTIONS
Pattern should say:

Page 3, left column, next to last paragraph:
Increase Row (RS): Work as established to marker, m1, sm, work to next marker, sm, cable panel 22, sm, work to next marker, sm, m1, work to end as established. [2 sts increased].
Work 1 Ws row even.

INSTRUCTIONS
Cable Pattern Chart
There is an error in the original chart on rounds 13, 33, and 53. The cable crossing should twist “right over left” rather than “left over right” as shown on chart.

Work those three rounds as follows:
Rnds 13, 33, and 53: *P5, Sl 3 to cn, hold in front, k2, return center st from cn to left needle and purl it; k2 from cn, p4; repeat from *.
(Note: The cable crossing shown on rnds 23 and 43 is correct as shown on chart.)
